Founder Robb Smith
Started DJing in 1988 with a large multi op on Florida’s west coast. Soon became the top DJ out of 36 on staff. Then moved into sales, then mgmt. Eventually bought the same business in 1994 along with a tremendous staff grew it to be the largest in the state. Took their established and very successful training program and modified it and began training nationally. A regular speaker at the larger DJ conferences and conventions. Such as Mobile Beat, DJ times and the WEDJ cruise.
Marc Burgess, Senior Instructor
| A mobile disc jockeysince 1994. An award winning sales and management specialist. From a part time DJ to a successful DJ business in Central Florida . Marc has helped open multiple companies branch offices and hopes to offer his expertise to anyone who needs assistance.. His company currently has 4 DJs and is looking forward to it’s future growth. | |
Eric Godfrey, East Coast Trainer
| Eric started working as a DJ/Emcee in 1982. He DJ’ed his first wedding at age 16 and has been doing it ever since. Eric ran one of the largest DJ companies in the Phoenix Metro area for 15 years. His company won over 20 awards there including best Wedding Vendor in the State in 2006 as voted by the readers of Arizona Bride Magazine. Eric left that company in great hands and returned to his home state of Pennsylvania in 2013. Starting in 2014, Eric started All Party Starz Entertainment in Lancaster PA. This company has grown a great reputation locally and in 4 years has won 6 awards between Wedding Wire and the Knot. Eric graduated from Villanova University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and TV Programming, Bachelor of Science in Naval Science and a minor in Computer Science.. He served 6 years as an officer in the US Navy serving all over the world. This allowed him to DJ weddings in 11 different countries and 4 different continents for his fellow service members. After the military, Eric continued his part time DJ career while achieving numerous computer and software certifications. He left his career as an IT Director to pursue building Starz Entertainment in AZ full time in February of 2003. | |

Dave Johnson, Instructor
DJ Tampa Bay 1984 -1993, Panama City Beach 1993 – to 2020. Dave Johnson began his mobile DJ career in 1984 working for a multi-dj company and quickly became one of the lead trainers for them. In 1993, became one of the few who successfully made the leap into his own DJ business starting from scratch in Panama City Beach including training a new crew of DJ’s… and is now taking on the challenge of being a Perfect Wedding Guide Publisher as well.Experience in sales, DJ training, networking, high standards, and common sense is what Dave Johnson brings to FAME.
